The Castelgarden XD 150 is a classic lawn tractor for larger home gardens and meadows: 98 cm cutting width, twin-blade deck with side discharge and a 434 cm³ single-cylinder engine. It is aimed at anyone who mainly mows open areas quickly and does not want to do without electric start, a sprung seat and a tow hitch.

Equipment and features
Power comes from the air-cooled Castelgarden ST 400 single-cylinder engine with 434 cm³ and 10.7 kW / 14.5 hp; machine output is 6.5 kW / 8.8 hp at 2800 rpm. Power goes to the rear wheels through a manual gearbox, with a top speed of 9.7 km/h.
The deck works with two blades over a 98 cm width and is engaged electromagnetically. You select the cutting height manually in seven steps between 25 and 80 mm. As standard, the XD 150 discharges to the side; with the mulch kit accessory it can mulch instead.
The driver sits on the classic Stiga seat with parallel suspension, adjustable with screws. A cup holder, storage compartment and headlights are included, and the tyres have a lawn-friendly tread.

Which lawns and users is it suitable for?
With an area rating of up to 5,000 m², the XD 150 is tailored to large home gardens, orchards and properties with long, open stretches. Because it steers with the front wheels and the deck sits between the axles, it shows its strengths on open areas; on very irregular properties, a Rider with a front deck has the advantage.
