The Segway Navimow X420E AWD is a robotic mower for difficult terrain: all-wheel drive with dual suspension, obstacle clearance up to 7 cm and slopes up to 84% (40°). It navigates without an antenna using tri-band RTK and a 360° camera system that recognises over 200 types of obstacle. The model is available in ‘Standard’ and ‘Direct Sales’ versions – we are happy to discuss which variant suits you.
Your benefits
- All-wheel drive with two suspension systems: slopes up to 84% (40°) and steps up to 7 cm high are no obstacle.
- Lawn-friendly steering via eccentric front-wheel control – clean turns without tearing up the sward.
- 43 cm cutting width with two cutting discs and 2 × 180 W: even dense and longer grass is cut cleanly.
- Setup with no antenna and no wire: automatic mapping at the push of a button, fine-tuning via the map editor.
- Centimetre-accurate positioning with RTK on three frequency bands plus AI image recognition.
Equipment and features
The four-wheel drive works with two suspension systems and keeps the wheels in contact with the ground even on uneven terrain. This allows the X420E to clear obstacles up to 7 cm high and climb slopes up to 84% (40°). Steering is via eccentric front-wheel control with lawn-friendly turning logic.
Cutting is done by two cutting discs driven by two 180 W motors over a 430 mm working width. For orientation, the mower combines RTK on three frequency bands with a 360° AI camera system, recognising more than 200 different obstacles to the centimetre. Initial setup needs no antenna mast: start automatic mapping at the push of a button, then edit the map in the true-image view.

Which lawns and users is it suitable for?
The X4 range is graded by area size: the X420 is designed for lawns up to 2,000 m², the X430 up to 3,000 m² and the X450 up to 5,000 m². The X420E offered here is therefore aimed at larger private gardens. It shows its strengths where all-wheel drive is needed: on slopes, uneven ground, steps and edges, and in gardens with many obstacles. If you are unsure which size suits your property, our team will help you choose.
Frequently asked questions
Does the X420E need a boundary wire or an antenna?
No. Setup is antenna-free: start mapping at the push of a button, then edit the map in the true-image view. Navigation is handled by tri-band RTK and the 360° camera system.
How steep and uneven can the ground be?
The all-wheel drive with dual suspension handles slopes of up to 84% (40°) and drives over obstacles up to 7 cm high.
What is the difference between the models in the X4 range?
They differ in area capacity: X420 up to 2,000 m², X430 up to 3,000 m² and X450 up to 5,000 m². The X420E is offered here.
