The Husqvarna Automower 405VE NERA is a fully automatic robotic mower for gardens up to 900 m² that works within virtual boundaries instead of a boundary wire in the ground. It is based on EPOS satellite technology with correction data. The model is available in NERA and NERA EdgeCut versions; EdgeCut also trims along the lawn edge.

Equipment and features
Correction data for precise navigation is available in three ways: via EPOS and the Husqvarna Cloud over your home WiFi, for which the EPOS plug-in is fitted as standard; via the mobile connection of the integrated Automower Connect kit, which is activated free of charge for ten years on delivery; or via a local reference station available as an accessory. A stable connection across the entire work area is important.
The integrated scheduling tool automatically adapts the schedule to the size of the work area, and the weather timer adjusts mowing time to current grass growth. Several mowing patterns are available, including chequerboard, triangle and alternating stripes.
The 18 V / 5 Ah lithium-ion battery is energy-efficient: at maximum use, energy consumption is around 11 kWh per month. Weighing 12.8 kg and rated IPX5, the mower is easy to handle and ready to work even in the rain.

When do I need a local reference station?

What is the difference between NERA and NERA EdgeCut?
